Player Stand is a lightweight mod that adds customizable, player-shaped display stands to your world. Perfect for showcasing armor, skins or themed builds with a more lifelike appearance.

To install Player Stand mod, follow the instructions on the Download page. Make sure you have:
Correct Minecraft version
Mod loader (as required)
The preferred version of Player Stand and AnCore
Placement: Place it like an Armor Stand.
Interacting: Shift + right-click with empty hand to set its appearance to player skin, right-click with accurate items to put the item to it and right-click with empty hand to take back items.
If the config option is enabled, shift + right-click again to change its texture.
Texture Crafting: Put a Player Stand into the crafting grid with a Minecraft head (Supports Zombie Head only for this version).

Q: What is Player Stand?
A: Player Stand is a Minecraft mod that adds a special entity similar to an armor stand but shaped like a full player model. It supports armor, custom textures and interactive retexturing.
Q: What Minecraft versions are supported?
A: Currently, Player Stand supports versions 1.20.1 to 1.20.6. Compatibility for future versions will be announced on the Download page.
Q: Does this work on both client and server?
A: Yes, Player Stand is designed to work in both singleplayer and multiplayer environments. It requires installation on both the client and the server for full functionality.
Q: How do I place a Player Stand?
A: Use the Player Stand item from the creative inventory or craft it. Right-click on the ground to place it.
Q: How do I change its texture?
A: Shift + Right-click the Player Stand with empty hand or put Player Stand in crafting grid with a supported Minecraft head (depending on mod config). If retexturing is enabled, it will update immediately.
Q: Can I equip armor on it?
A: Yes! Just right-click the Player Stand with armor items like you would with a regular armor stand.
Q: Can I pose it?
A: Not yet. Future versions will support custom poses.
Q: How do I enable or disable retexturing after placement?
A: Open the config file (playerstand-common.toml) and set allowRetextureExisting to true or false.
