Day Length is a mod that allows you to control the in-game day-night cycle, making days shorter or longer. It also includes an optional real-world time synchronization feature, ensuring in-game time matches real-world hours.

Custom Day Length
Allows changing the length of a full Minecraft day. The default day length is 20 minutes.
Command: /gamerule customDayLength [minutes]
Example: /gamerule customDayLength 1440 → Sets a full day to 24 real-world hours.
Real-Time Synchronization
Enables or disables synchronization with real-world time.
Command: /gamerule realTimeSync [true/false]
Example: If the server is in UTC+2 and it’s 14:00, in-game time will also be 14:00.
Best used for long-term survival servers and roleplay worlds.
The Day Length mod offers flexible options for syncing your in-game time with real-world time or custom configurations. Here's what each setting does:
Default: true
When enabled, the mod uses your server’s system clock to determine the in-game time.
If set to false, the mod uses a manual UTC offset instead (see below).
Default: 0
Range: -12 to +14
Only used when useServerTime is set to false.
This setting lets you simulate real-time sync from any time zone by manually setting your offset relative to UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). For example:
0 = UTC
-5 = EST (Eastern Standard Time)
+10 = AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time)
Default: true
When enabled, any major time changes (like changing your time zone or adjusting day length) happen gradually instead of instantly — for a smoother gameplay experience.
Default: 10
Minimum: > 1
Defines how long (in real-world seconds) the transition takes when smoothTimeTransition is enabled.
For example, if set to 10, the game will blend into the new time setting over 10 seconds.
